Gwladys Gernoux PhD

Dr. Gwladys Gernoux is a scientist and researcher at Nantes Université and INSERM UMR1089 TaRGeT (Translational Research in Gene Therapy), where her work focuses on immunology and gene transfer technologies. Her research centers on the development and clinical translation of recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapies, with a particular emphasis on immune responses to viral vectors and improving the safety and efficacy of innovative genetic medicines.

Dr. Gernoux has contributed extensively to translational gene therapy research, including studies on anti-AAV immune responses, vector immunogenicity, and long-term transgene expression in preclinical models. Her work supports the advancement of therapies for inherited and acquired diseases, including neurological and neuromuscular disorders. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the fields of gene therapy, immunology, and molecular medicine.
