Doctor in public health-epidemiology after training in statistics at ENSAI, Gwenn Menvielle is an epidemiologist and director of research at Inserm.

Her work focuses on social inequalities in the field of cancer. Part of his research concerns screening practices, and seeks to better understand the disparities in the use of screening and their determinants. She is particularly interested in vulnerable populations, whether due to their poor social situation or their poor health.

She is also developing work on post-cancer, focusing on the social impact of the disease. More specifically, she explores short- and medium-term professional trajectories after breast cancer and their clinical, health-related, demographic, social, and professional determinants.

Finally, she participates in the implementation of public health interventions aimed at improving the quality of life and the professional trajectory of women after breast cancer using a non-drug approach, and by combining the use of digital tools and personalized follow-up.
