Guy Shinar, PhD, MBA is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Javelin Medical, a start-up company developing a permanent carotid filter for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation patients, and a co-founder and Chief technology Officer of Triple Jump, a start-up company developing a miniature insulin patch pump for Type I diabetics. Guy is a theoretical physicist with 20 years of experience as a medical device entrepreneur and executive. He was the CEO of X Technologies, an interventional cardiology company acquired by Guidant, and is a co-founder of EarlySense, a remote patient monitoring company. He is the author of scientific articles published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Science and PNAS.
