Guy S. Reeder MD

Dr. Guy Reeder is an interventional cardiologist with special interest in structural and valvular heart disease. He has been a Consultant in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, since 1981, and is Professor of Medicine in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, since 1993. He received his MD degree at Northwestern University and underwent residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine for Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He was Director of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit at Mayo Clinic Rochester Hospitals from 1993-2003 and Director of the Cardiovascular Fellows Training Program from 1998-2010. Dr. Reeder has received various awards and honors during his career including Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012 Award for Interventional Fellows in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases.
