Gurpreet is a highly driven business leader with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, chemicals and agro commodities. Dr. Sandhu holds 2 MBAs (with specialization in Marketing Management & International Business) and B.Sc (Hons) in Economics from Cardiff University, UK. He has served in diverse management positions in multinational corporations. In his early years, Dr. Sandhu worked with the TATA group & Global Traders. He then worked at Matrix (Mylan), followed by 8 years as a director of the global API business in Ranbaxy (Daiichi Sankyo). Dr. Sandhu stands out from other businessmen as he has travelled over 74 nations, thereby being a true international citizen with a global perspective. This gives him a wider understanding of key markets: Japan, Europe, India and other emerging economies. Over his career, Dr. Sandhu has developed myriad skills in general management, international business, mergers & acquisition, procurement and vendor development.
