Dr. Kibria is a physician and epidemiologist. He is currently a senior research associate at the Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, MD. He received his medical degree (MBBS) from Comilla Medical College, Bangladesh in 2009 and Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD in 2017. Previously, he worked as a research data coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research mainly focuses on reducing health disparities, including cardiovascular health disparities. He also analyzes population-level data to study the distribution and determinants of diseases of global public health significance.
