Guirish A. Solanki MBBS, FRCSI, FRCS

Mr. Guirish Solanki completed his medical training at the University of Bombay, graduating in 1988. After completing basic surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, he went on to work at a variety of hospitals including the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and Charing Cross Hospital, The Royal London, and the Royal Free Hospitals.

His first post as a consultant neurosurgeon was at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK, and he has been working at the West Midlands’ Regional Paediatric Neurosurgery department since 2003. He has contributed to a number of developments in craniofacial surgery and has performed over 250 craniofacial surgeries. His other area of specialist interest is spinal surgery for congenital spine defects and craniocervical junction instability.
