Guillermo Aldama-Lopez earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra and completed his specialization in Cardiology at the University Hospital of A Coruna (CHUAC), where he also trained as an Interventional Cardiologist. He holds a Diploma in Biostatistics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a Master’s in Healthcare Management from ESADE, and a Master’s in Advanced Statistics with R and Python. As a dedicated Residency Tutor and certified Advanced Simulation Instructor by Harvard University, he combines clinical expertise with educational leadership.
He coordinates the regional registry of acute myocardial infarction and conducts research in diverse cardiovascular fields, including acute coronary syndromes, secondary prevention, and emerging risk factors such as those related to the microbiome. His work bridges clinical practice, innovation, and academic mentorship.
