Prof. Nordin joined the faculty of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Brigham Young University in 2005. From 1992 to 2005 he was at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) where he was the founding director of the university's Nano and Micro Devices Center, which was created as an independent research center by the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees.

Prof. Greg Nordin received a BS degree in Physics from Brigham Young University in 1984, an MS degree in Physics from UCLA in 1986, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1992. From 1984 to 1992 he was also employed at Hughes Aircraft Company, first in the Radar Systems Group, then in the Electrooptical and Data Systems Group, and finally at the Hughes Research Laboratory. From 1992 to 2005 Dr. Nordin was at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department as Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.
