Gregory D. Chapman MD, FACC

Gregory D. Chapman, MD, FACC is a Professor of Medicine/Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has published commentaries and research papers in The New England Journal of Medicine, Circulation, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the American Journal of Medicine.

He is now in his third decade of practice as a cardiologist, with experience in academic and private practice settings. His interests include STEMI recognition and treatment, as well as the diagnosis of acute coronary syndromes and their mimics. In addition to an active clinical role, he enjoys teaching residents in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and cardiology.
