Gregory R. Blaha MD, PhD

Gregory R. Blaha M.D., Ph.D. is the Director of the Vitreoretinal Service at Lahey Medical Center and Director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship. He is an Assistant Professor at Tufts Medical School. Dr. Blaha obtained his M.D., as well as a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, at the University of Pennsylvania. He returned to his hometown of Boston for his ophthalmology residency at New England Eye Center and a retina fellowship at the Lahey Clinic. He has been an investigator in over 20 clinical research studies. He has a special interest in surgical techniques and the training of fellows.
