Gregorio Varela Moreiras PhD

Dr. Gregorio Varela Moreiras, Ph.D. is a Professor of Nutrition and Bromatology at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Private St. Paul University CEU. He completed his Ph.D. in pharmacy, he made his postdoctoral stay at Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Ageing at TUFTS University in Boston. Subsequently, he moved to the Biomedical Research Institute (CSIC) in Madrid and then developed his activity at the University of Burgos, until his definitive incorporation at the CEU Sant Pau University. He has published more than 160 scientific articles in international and national journals, as well as more than 50 chapters, and has been the editor of 15 books. He has participated in over forty international and national research projects and contracts.
