Gregorio Jaimovich M.D. obtained his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires. He is Director of the Bone Marrow Transplantation programs of the Favaloro University Hospital as well as the Anchorena Hospital in Buenos Aires. Dr. Jaimovich specializes in hematology and hematopoietic stem cells transplantation. Since 2015 he has been the President of the Latinamerican Bone Marrow Transplant Group, focusing on the promotion and improvement of the hematopoietic stem cells transplantation in developing countries. He also organized the first Argentinian Congress of bone marrow transplantation along with the second LABMT congress during 2017 in Buenos Aires. In 2014 he set up a formal training program in bone marrow transplantation and has been its
director so far. At present, he is researching the impact of socio‐economics on the transplantation
access and outcome.
