Gregg H. Zoarski, M.D., joined Christiana Care in 2011 as a NeuroInterventional surgeon and attending physician in the Department of NeuroInterventional Surgery. Dr. Zoarski worked as an associate professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Neurosurgery at the Baltimore-based University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he was employed for 19 years. He also was on the clinical staff in the Radiology Departments for several Baltimore-area hospitals, including Maryland General and MedStar Good Samaritan. In addition to his work at Christiana Care, Dr. Zoarski maintains privileges in the Radiology Departments at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
Dr. Zoarski obtained his medical degree in 1985 at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He was an intern at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J., and a resident in radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y. Dr. Zoarski completed a fellowship in neuroradiology in 1992 at UCLA Center for Health Sciences in Los Angeles. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.
