Greg Nassar MSc, BSc

Dr. Greg Nassar is a 2014 UK Audiologist of the Year and was appointed Head of Audiology Services for Manchester University Foundation Trust (MFT), Trafford division in 2010. The NHS service consists of both adult and pediatric teams and offers a cradle to grave audiology service. His main areas of clinical work and research interests are pediatric audiology, developing services for complex hearing-impaired children and their families, and complex adult rehabilitation. He completed his clinical doctorate (Au.D) in 2008 and recently he launched North West Hearing, an independent hearing practice, and authorized Lyric center from the Beeches Consulting Centre in Cheadle. North West Hearing offers premium audiology services, complex diagnostics, musicians' hearing services, and state-of-the-art hearing aids.

Dr. Greg Nassar is the North West's first authorized Lyric provider; Lyric is a unique extended wear hearing aid placed deep in the ear canal. Dr. Nassar has lectured regularly for the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) and has presented recent research into adult hearing aid transition at the BAA conference. Dr. Nassar has been appointed Chair of the Audiology Supplies Group responsible for hearing aid provision in the NHS after serving as vice-chair for several years.
