Graham Cooke is NIHR Professor of Infectious Diseases based within the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Wright-Fleming Institute. He trained in Oxford, London and South Africa. Prior to joining Imperial he was based at the Africa Health Research Institute in KwaZulu-Natal.
His current work is focussed on precision medicine for management of infectious diseases and access to medicines, particularly for HIV/viral hepatitis, tuberculosis and bacterial sepsis. He co-chairs the WHO Essential Medicines List and chairs the WHO EML antibiotics working group.
