Grace Alexandra Freire MD

Dr. Freire evaluates and treats patients with complex congenital heart disease, including congenital heart disease detected before birth. She is a general pediatric cardiologist and an assistant professor of pediatrics with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has expertise in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and broad experience in fetal cardiology, including treatment of fetal arrhythmias and fetal heart failure. Dr. Freire is actively involved in research in fetal medicine and echocardiography and education. She completed her pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital, New York and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Hope Children’s Hospital, Chicago.
