Goretti Ferreiro PhD

Dr. Goretti Arias Ferreiro, PhD, is a materials scientist and researcher specializing in additive manufacturing and polymer science. She completed her PhD in Applied Physics at the Universidade da Coruña in Spain, where her doctoral thesis focused on the development of 3D-printable light-curing acrylic resins with electrical properties based on polyaniline and lignin, a project that combined materials chemistry with advanced manufacturing techniques and was defended in December 2022. Her work in polymeric materials and conductive composites has been published and recognized within the scientific community, including collaborations on research involving 3D-printed conductive materials.

In addition to her research activities, Dr. Arias Ferreiro serves as an R&D Project Manager in Innovation and Development Project Management at Acciona Construction | FAB – Agustín de Betancourt Foundation, where she contributes to project leadership and technology innovation in the engineering and construction sector. She is also a lecturer in the Master’s Program in Additive Manufacturing (MINT), sharing her expertise with graduate students and supporting interdisciplinary education in emerging manufacturing technologies. Her role as a featured speaker at international conferences reflects her contributions at the intersection of additive manufacturing, advanced materials, and applied physics.
