Gordon Wood BSc, MB ChB, MD, FRCP

Gordon has been a consultant physician and gastroenterologist for 25 years at the George Eliot Hospital. He was previously Associate Medical director for six years, Clinical Director in Medicine for eight years and clinical lead in endoscopy. He has been author/joint author of 27 papers published in peer reviewed journals, was a faculty member of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and completed the IHI Patient Safety Officer course in 2009 and has been involved in research in case note review as an improvement tool.
