Glenn Todhunter

Glenn’s unique and inspirational keynote presentation incorporates aspects of the next eight years rebuilding a life in which he learns to walk, drive and fly again. Today Glenn is still flying in the Army and is credited as being the only civil and military fixed and rotary wing amputee pilot to have served in the Australian Defence Force.

He had felt nothing below his waist, Glenn pulled himself from the aircraft with his bare hands. He would lay for the next three and half-hours unable to make it into the shade of the wing.

The call for help was heard, and following amputation of both legs below the knee, Glenn spent the following two months in hospital.
