Glen Brice PhD

Glen Brice currently the lead genetic counsellor and assistant clinical lead for the clinical genetics service, covering a population of three million. In addition to my work in the genetics unit I work with the lymphoedema service. Previously I have worked in the cardiac unit, and in the medical school on a number of research projects. In my current role I continue to have an active research interest and am an author on over 60 peer reviewed publications. I am a member of the United Kingdom Genetic Testing Network, approving applications for new genetic tests and was the first Editor in Chief of the online, free access journal, The Application of Clinical Genetics. Outside my NHS career I have previously worked as a nurse in Australia, run pubs in London and been a self employed bricklayer.
