Dr. Marongiu is Medical Director at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Cagliari, where he deals with traumatology and conservative and prosthetic surgery of the hip and knee. Since 2015 he has been a tenured professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Diseases of the Locomotor System Since 2015 he has been Researcher in Diseases of the Locomotor System at the Department of Surgical Sciences of the University of Cagliari. He is also a lecturer in educational courses and in specialization schools in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Cagliari and Sassari. He is the author of over 40 scientific publications published in international journals and has participated as a speaker at over 50 national and international. The research areas of Dr. Marongiu are currently geared towards regenerative medicine, robotic surgery and 3D printing in biomedicine.
