Giulio (Filippo Giacomo) Tarro, born in Messina on 9-7-38 graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Naples in 1962, where he studied with Prof. F. Magrassi problems of antiviral chemotherapy. Captain of Corvette of the Italian Navy and later of Fregata. Former Professor of Virological Oncology of the University of Naples, primary emeritus of the "D. Cotugno ", was" scientific son "by Albert B. Sabin.
