Giuliana Mazzoni joined the University of Hull as Professor in Psychology and Neuroscience in 2007. Her research interests focus on human memory and its forensic applications, and the relationship between cognition and health. Prof Mazzoni completed her PhD at the University of Padova, Italy, and her postdoctorate at the University of Washington, Seattle. She became lecturer at the University of Florence, Italy, associate professor at the University of Calabria, Italy, and visiting professor at the University of Connecticut. After becoming a full professor in Italy in 1999, she moved to Seton Hall University, New Jersey, and then to the University of Plymouth.
