Giovanni Volpicelli MD, FCCP

Dr. Giovanni Volpicelli, MD, FCCP is an emergency medicine staff physician at San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital in Torino, Italy. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Critical Ultrasound Journal, Associate Editor of Medicine, member of the editorial board, and a reviewer of international journals in the field of emergency medicine and emergency ultrasound. He is involved in the international program of education on lung ultrasound for WINFOCUS. He served as chairman of the scientific committee of the 1st International Consensus Conference on Lung Ultrasound. He authored several chapters in international books of emergency medicine and emergency ultrasound and has more than 80 indexed publications in international peer-reviewed journals with more than 2100 citations.
