Giovanni Clarke BS

Giovanni Clarke is a Senior Microbiology and Molecular Genetics Student at the University of Vermont College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He is a New England Medical Education Committee member of #MEActionNH.

He is affected by a NeuroImmune chronic illness, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), for which medicine currently doesn't have the answers for people like him trying to understand why and how disorders affect them in particular. He believes that the fields of Microbiology and Genetics are the future, they will allow healthcare professionals to see a whole new world of insights on how to care for patients on a more personal level, specifically a more multifaceted approach to the body and it’s a connection with the environment.
