Giorgio Lambru MD

Dr Giorgio Lambru is a Consultant Neurologist and headache specialist. He is the clinical lead of the Headache Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. He sees patients with all type of headaches and facial pain, including migraine, chronic daily headache, medication overuse headache, tension-type headache, cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia and trigeminal neuropathy.

Dr Lambru gained his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan (Italy). He then trained in Neurology at the University-Hospital of Parma (Italy), when he initially developed his interest in Headache medicine. As part of his training, he collaborated clinically and academically with the Headache Centre of the University of Parma from 2005 to 2009, actively involved in clinical research in primary headache disorders. In 2010 he undertook a-one year clinical fellowship within the Headache group at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery developing an interest in trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias and cranial neuralgias that has led him to undertake a PhD degree at the Institute of Neurology, UCL.
