Giorgina Mieli-vergani MD, PhD, FRCP, FRCPCH, FAASLD

Professor Mieli-Vergani is the Emeritus Professor of Paediatric Hepatology at the supra regional Paediatric Liver Center at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she was originally appointed as a Consultant in 1985. Her private practice is based in the Guthrie Clinic.

The Professor has a specialist interest in autoimmune liver disease, transplantation and viral hepatitis in children. Prof Mieli-Vergani graduated from the University of Milan and is an accredited specialist in Paediatrics. She also has extensive research expertise, alongside her appointment as honorary Consultant Paediatrician.
