Ginger Shupe MD

Dr. Ginger Shupe, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist and mental health leader dedicated to advancing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. She serves as Medical Director of Outpatient Psychiatry at Larkin Community Hospital, where she oversees outpatient behavioral health services and supports multidisciplinary teams delivering comprehensive mental health treatment.

Dr. Shupe earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and completed psychiatric training through programs affiliated with major teaching hospitals in Miami. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

In addition to clinical leadership, Dr. Shupe contributes to academic medicine as part of the psychiatry faculty involved in training residents and mentoring future physicians. She has also contributed to psychiatric research and publications addressing complex mental health conditions.
