Gillian M. Hunt PhD

Gillian Hunt is a senior medical scientist in the Centre for HIV and STI at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, Johannesburg, South Africa.. The Drug Resistance Surveillance Laboratory team consists of 6 staff and students involved in HIV drug resistance surveillance and research. The laboratory is accredited by the WHO as Regional Drug Resistance Testing Laboratory and performs surveillance testing for South African and some neighbouring countries, in addition to involvement in a number of clinical research projects and assay development activities.
