Giles Roditi is a Consultant Radiologist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary since 1997 with clinical and research interests in cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and MRA techniques for which I am a recognised national expert. Having recently left behind my endovascular commitments I have taken on the rle of Radiology Lead for non-invasive Cardiovascular Imaging for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and chair the weekly Vascular Multidisciplinary Team meeting. I have used cardiac CT since 2003, lectured nationally on cardiac CT including on accreditation courses, and hold Level 3 Cardiac CT accreditation through the BSCI.
I been involved in cardiac MRI and body MRA since a Harvard Fellowship in 1994 with particular research interests in renovascular and lower limb MRA. With my colleagues at Glasgow Royal Infirmary I provide clinical cardiac CT and CMR services for NHS Glasgow and across the West of Scotland with particular interest in the imaging of cardiomyopathies. I am Chair of Contrast Procurement for Scotland (& Northern Ireland) having a strong interest in contrast agents for MRI and recognised expertise in NSF through our experience in Glasgow.
