Giancarlo Scoppettuolo, born in Mirabella Eclano (AV) in 1968, lives in Rome. Medical Degree in 1992 at Catholic University, Rome. Post Graduation Degree in Infectious Diseases in 1996 at Catholic University, Rome. From 1997, he is an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Catholic University Hospital, Rome, where he provides medical care, research and teaching.

He is an active member of SIMIT; SINPE (Italian Society of Nutritional Therapy and Metabolism); ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism); AVA (Association for Vascular Access). He is one of scientific coordinators of the University Masters “Nursing of Venous Access” and “Medium and Long Term Central Venous Access Devices”, established at Catholic University, Rome.
