Giancarlo Pruneri MD

Giancarlo Pruneri is an Associate Professor in Pathology at the University of Milan. Dr. Pruneri is particularly involved in translational research programs in breast, head & neck pathology, and in hematopathology. His research activity has been presented in several international meetings and is documented in more than 200 full papers, accounting for an impact factor score higher than 700 (H index 32). He is actively involved in the Breast International Group and in the International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group. He is the co-chair of the Translational Research Working Group on behalf of the International Breast Cancer Study Group. He served as a Reviewer for many top-ranked medical journals, including Journal of Clinical Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, BMC, and Blood, among others, and is currently a Specialty Editor in Pathology for the Breast.
