Giancarlo Agnelli MD

Dr. Giancarlo Agnelli is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Director of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Perugia, Italy. Dr. Agnelli is the Director of the Division of Internal and Cardiovascular Medicine and Stroke Unit at the University Hospital in Perugia.

Dr. Agnelli received his medical degree from the University of Perugia.  He was a researcher as well as a clinical fellow at the Department of Medicine, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and at the Academical Medical Center, University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Dr. Agnelli was a member of the Conference on Antithrombotic and Thrombolytic Treatment of the American College of Chest Physicians (4^th to 8^th editions).

Dr. Agnelli was a member of the Conference on Antithrombotic and Thrombolytic Treatment of the American College of Chest Physicians (4^th to 8^th editions).

He is a member of the Editorial Board of Thrombosis Research, Haemostasis, Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine, Acta Cardiologica, and Trends in Medicine.  Dr. Agnelli also is a reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Circulation, Blood, Cardiovascular Research, Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
