Dr Martignetti is Associate Professor in the Departments of Genetics and Genomic Sciences, Pediatrics, and Oncological Sciences at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and Co-director of the Mount Sinai Ovarian Cancer Translational Research Program.
He received his BA from Columbia College, Columbia University, an MPhil from Cambridge University and his MD, PhD dual degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His translational research interests have focused on the identification and characterization of novel human disease syndromes, gene discovery in both rare Mendelian disorders and common cancers, and defining the mechanisms underlying genetic disease.
