Gert Lycklama MD, PhD

Dr. Geert Lycklama has been working as a radiologist since 2003, specializing in neuroradiology. He studied medicine at Leiden University. This was followed by a radiology residency at VU medical center, Amsterdam. A neuroradiology and neuro-intervention fellowship was completed in the same hospital. A Ph.D. thesis on spinal MR imaging in MS was completed in 2001. Geert has participated actively in numerous stroke/EVT-related study projects, including the MR CLEAN trials. He has authored and co-authored over 100 articles on MS, stroke, and other neuroradiology subjects.
