Germano Tarantino MD

Dr Germano Tarantino is an experienced research scientist and Chief Scientific Officer at Pharmanutra Spa in Pisa, Italy, where he leads scientific research, clinical monitoring, and innovation activities focused on nutritional technologies and micronutrient supplementation. He earned his degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pisa and has since conducted extensive research in human clinical nutrition and nutraceutical delivery systems.

Dr Tarantino is recognised for his work on sucrosomial technology for micronutrient supplementation in the elderly, a novel approach designed to enhance the bioavailability and tolerability of key vitamins and minerals, and he has authored and contributed to numerous patents and scientific presentations in the field.
