Gerin Rachel Stevens MD, PhD, FACC

Dr. Stevens specializes in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. Before joining Northwell Health, she was medical director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support Program for the Johns Hopkins Division of Cardiology. Prior to that, Dr. Stevens served as an attending physician in the Center for Advanced Cardiac Therapy at Montefiore Medical Center.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Stevens’ subspecialty training spans 10 years, including fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation. She is an assistant professor at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.
