Geri Q. L. Young MD

Dr. Geri Q. L. Young, MD, serves as Chief Medical Officer of Kauai Medical Clinic at Hawai’i Pacific Health. Dr. Young served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She has practiced as a Pediatrician at Kauai Medical Clinic since 1996 and the Kauai Medical Group, which she joined in 1981.

Dr. Young has committed her life to serving the youth of Kauai as a pediatrician for more than 35 years. She joined the Kauai Medical Group in 1981 and served as chairman of the Department of Pediatrics from 1990-1996, the year Kauai Medical Group became Kauai Medical Clinic (KMC). Dr. Young served as chairman of the Department of Pediatrics for Wilcox Medical Center from 1996 to 2008. In 2007, she was appointed a chief medical officer of Kauai Medical Clinic. Since 2007, she has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Hawaii Pacific Health and continues her practice as a pediatrician. Dr. Young is a member of the Kauai Rural Health Association, serves on the Quality Improvement Advisory Committee of Aloha Care, serves on the board of Hale Opio and is on the Board of Directors for Puulu Lapaau, which assists health care providers.
