Dr. Gergana Todorova Taneva was Born in Bulgaria. She has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid. She graduated in advanced studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She completed her residency program via MIR to obtain the title of Specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at the Fundación Jiménez Diaz University Hospital in Madrid.
She completed his training at the Vascular Surgery Service, Saint Mary's Hospital in London, England. Tutor: Dr. Michael P. She is currently Research Leader, Asklepios Clinic Langen, University of Frankfurt, Germany, and Associate Physician at Hospital Puerta de Hierro, Madrid. Author of more than 50 national and international publications and communications to Congresses. She has been editor of the Vascular and Endovascular Review since December 2018 and reviewer of the VASCULAR, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Journal e-lncathlab publications.
She is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the CEU-San Pablo University in Madrid. He is a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery, the Spanish Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery.
