Gerard H.A. Visser is an Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics at University Medical Center, Utrecht, Netherlands. Former chairman of the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Neonatology. Former member of the board of the University Medical Center and vice-dean, former chairman of the Dutch College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. Executive Board member of the European Association of Perinatal Medicine( immediate past president). Member executive board of European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Honorary Fellow of the Flemish, South African, and Royal ( British) colleges of O&G. Research interests: fetal ( neurological) development, fetal monitoring, IUGR, diabetes, and pregnancy.
