Gerald Li PhD

Dr. Li has broad knowledge on cancer research. His main focus is on biomarker discovery for early cancer detection and screening. He has diverse knowledge as he has worked on various research projects during his undergraduate degree in physics and chemistry. He has published 4 peer-reviewed papers, including 3 first author original research articles. He has strong technical skills, including cell culture and molecular biology skills such as immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, gene expression microarray analysis, microdissection, digital pathology, and automated image cytometry. And has also explored using gold nanoparticle-labelled bioconjugates as optical contrast agents. He was the Past president of a research trainee society. He has over 8 years of experience in both health sciences and chemistry research.
