Gerald Antoch

Gerald Antoch is professor of radiology and chairman of the department of diagnostic and interventional radiology at University Hospital Düsseldorf.After completing his medical training, Prof. Antoch began working in the department of general surgery and trauma surgery at the Marien Hospital in Düsseldorf, Germany. He became a board certified radiologist in 2000. From 2004 to 2008, he worked as a consultant radiologist before assuming his current post in 2010.

Prof. Antoch’s scientific research focuses on hybrid imaging and interventional radiology. He has published 209 original scientific articles and reviews, as well as 20 book chapters. He has received widespread recognition for his work with a number of awards from societies in Germany and the US.
