Geraint " Jerry" Farr, Initally started off as a mountain medic with a local mountain rescue team in North Wales (MRT83) in 1990's prior to joining the airforce, where he trained as a paramedic. He has seen active duies in Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan and Iraq, and was one of the original crew members of the Critical Care Aeromed Team (CCAST) in Afghanistan. After 10 years in the military he left and joined the East Of England Ambulance Service as a Paramedic/Clinical Trainer. He has worked for numerous trusts in numerous roles through out his Ambulance career. He left the ambulance service to become a Resuscitation officer/Service Manager in London, and eventually became Lead for Resuscitation and Trauma Governance. He also supported the North East London and Essex Trauma Network (NELETN) as Deputy Director of Clinical Governance. He is HCPC Paramedic, Resuscitation Council Instructor/Course director (ALS/EPALS/GIC) and ALSG Instructor/Course Director (APLS), paramedic instructor and regional centre assessor for the Resuscitation Council. Employed as an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner in North wales since 2018.
