Georgios Chaidemenos MD, PhD

Georgios Ch. Chaidemenos, MD, PhD has served at the NHS Hospital for skin and Venereal Diseases at Thessaloniki for 25 years. His main medical interests are in the fields of Psoriasis, Autoimmune Bullous Disorders and Dermoscopy. His PhD Diploma was awarded from “Demokrition” University, Thrace, Greece. He has (co-) authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.

He also has co-organized International Scientific Meetings and Pan-Hellenic Medical Congresses. Having being elected President of the “Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology”, EADV Board member and EADV Committee’s member, Dr Chaidemenos considers as main achievements the education of 150 new Dermatologists in Greece and the writing of a 5-year -labor Greek book on Dermoscopy (ed. 2009, 250 pages/210 photos). He is currently President of the Hellenic Dermoscopy Society working at his Private Office.
