Georgi Abraham MBBS, MD, MRCP, FRCP

Dr. Georgi Abraham, MBBS, MD, MRCP, FRCP is a Professor and Senior Consultant with the Department of Nephrology at MGM Healthcare with over 40 years of experience. He was previously a Professor at Sree Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute (1996-2008), Pondicherry Institute of Health Sciences (2008 – 2020), and also the Director of Nephrology at the Madras Medical Mission Hospital. He is an expert in Home Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD / APD), Kidney Transplantation, Hemodialysis, CKDMBD & Nutrition. He also launched TANKER Foundation. With help from other members of the Board and drawing from his own in-depth knowledge, Dr. Abraham hopes to help underprivileged kidney patients and also take concrete steps to lower the incidence of the disease among the general public. He is also elected as the President of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) 2021.
