George Weyer MD

George Weyer, MD, provides comprehensive primary care to adults and children of all ages. Dr. Weyer provides routine preventive health services, treats common acute illnesses, and manages various chronic health conditions. Additionally, he has expertise in the treatment of both chronic hepatitis c virus and substance use disorders. He is licensed to prescribe buprenorphine for the treatment of opiate use disorder.

Dr. Weyer also serves as the Executive Medical Director of Accountable Care for UChicago Medicine, where his work focuses on implementing value-based healthcare payment models. Dr. Weyer also works closely with medical students and resident physician trainees.
