Dr. George Ou is an adult gastroenterologist who practices at St. Paul’s Hospital and is a physician associate of the B.C. Home Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Program. His clinical Interests are short bowel syndrome and intestinal failure, small bowel diseases, and general gastroenterology and hepatology. Capsule endoscopy and general gastroenterology and hepatology are among his main areas of research.
Dr. Ou holds a master's degree from the Penn State College of Medicine (US), studied Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, and completed an Advanced Training in Clinical Nutrition, Intestinal Failure and Small Bowel Diseases at the University of Chicago (US) and St. Mark’s Hospital (UK). Lastly, he completed his Master's of Public Health in Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
