George Dimitriadis MD, PhD, DPhil

Professor George Dimitriadis, MD, DPhil was born in Athens, Greece. He received his MD from the University of Athens Medical School and his PhD in Biochemistry and Metabolism from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. He was a research fellow in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Mayo Clinic Medical School (University of Minneapolis, Minesotta, USA) from 1980-1983 and in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, from 1986-1988.

His present appointment is Professor and Chairman of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine, Research Institute and Diabetes Center, Athens University Medical School, “Attikon” University Hospital. Professor George Dimitriadis, MD, DPhil was born in Athens, Greece.
