Georg Heidenreich

Georg Heidenreich is in charge of Software and IT standardization coordination in the Standards & Technology department at Siemens Healthcare GmbH. With a background in medical-device-regulated software engineering, Heidenreich specialized in model-driven software-engineering and advised the German health card coordination organization (gematik) on modelling electronic messages and records for healthcare. His current work includes developing standards for medical software life cycles and medical-device security. He holds a doctorate in computer science. Currently he serves as Deputy Chair of the Medical Software Taskforce in COCIR and Chairman of the German DIN Medical Informatics Working Group Medical Devices
